Taken at night this is a memorial which shows a model of the fishing vessel ‘Andholmen’ involved in the Shetland Bus operation during WWII. In the background is the former cruise ship ‘Gemini’ now an accommodation vessel for workers at Sullom Voe Oil Terminal.

On our way into Lerwick on 30th June, Victoria and myself saw this bright yellow field of marsh marigolds up a hill. We had to do a bit of climbing to get to it but it was worth it. Looking over Lerwick we saw the Celebrity Infinity cruise ship leaving. She is just one of the beautiful cruise ships to visit us annually.
