It hasn’t been the warmest year for flowers but some, being sheltered, have withstood the cold and wind. On one of the least windy days I took a look around the Lerwick Flower Park and snapped some of the survivors.

These are some of the flowers to be found in the Lerwick Flower Park recently.  The wind has been rather unkind to some of the more fragile flowers like the long-stemmed poppies etc. so I was pleased to find these unharmed.
