Two very different images from Hamnavoe, Burra. The first is the fishing boat ‘COMRADES’ coming in to the pier with a catch, followed by very hungry seagulls.
The second is looking under Hamnavoe Pier with the sun shining through creating shadows and reflections.

Sunset images from New Street, Scalloway looking over to Port Arthur and beyond. The tide was quite low so some of the lower part of the pier was more visible than usual. I feel it adds more character to the image.

There are always reflections of boats and floats to be found in Shetland on a nice day.
On the 21st November there was a spectalular sunset in Shetland. I headed for the Scord of Scalloway to get an elevated view before driving back down the hill for some ground level images.
Saw these two rams in a field at our local Berry Farm. They were so friendly with each other which I thought was unusual.
There’s always something different to be found at Hamnavoe Pier.
